It depends on a person's needs. if you love whale watching, waterfalls--Dominica is the best.
If you love windsurfing, lots of beach activities, lots of beach exploring, good duty-free shopping, good cricket, yachting, rich history--Antigua is compact; I also has over 300 beaches including pink sand beaches in Barbuda its sister isle.
If you Spanish music, salsa, and a rustic Caribbean--Cuba is fine.
If you love horse-racing, hockey and cave exploration--Barbados is fun.
The best thing to do is to click on Yahoo search and click Caribbean.
Spend some time reading the visitors reviews and do your won homework.

hope u have a great trip.
thanks......

I agree with all the above.....especially that there is no such thing as the "best island": and yes, I agree that Antigua is a very beautiful island with something for everyone.

It is maybe advisable to keep an eye on reviews as they're posted & opt for a particular hotel based upon reviewers that you feel most associated with: after all, what I think is fabulous is likely to be different from someone 25 years younger (or older) than me as we all value different attrributes to a holiday quite differently.

Budget will also make a huge difference as will the frequency that a reviewer takes holidays. I am usually abroad for up to twelve weeks a year so I may see things differently to many as I'm less tolerant of poor service & food that is not to a standard in hotels that claim to be 4, 4.5 or 5 star (I won't usually go below 4 star). My preference is for smaller quality hotels rather than the huge complexes that seem to dominate certain areas.

I hope the above has some relevant points to you and helps focus on the "best" island for you!

Best regards

Caribbean Island is one of the most beautiful and most inviting travel destinations of the world. Here i am highlighting some of the beautiful Caribbean Island destinations that you should visit if you are planning a trip to Caribbean:
1. Cayman Islands: Cayman Islands, located on the western side of Caribbean offer serene beaches surrounded by turquoise waters.
2. Havana, Cuba: Situated on the north coast Cuba, Havana is one of the top destinations among the Caribbean travelers. It is the capital city of Cuba and one of the biggest cities in Caribbean. It is a year round destination but it is more crowded by the visitors during the winter months from December to April.
3. Barbados: The island of Barbados offers one of the most scenic natural beauties starting from the wonderful caves to the beautiful landscape full of colorful flora all over the island. One of the must see spot here is Harrison’s Cave.
4. Andros, The Bahamas: Andros is the largest of all Bahamian islands. The main tourist attraction here is the barrier reef which is the third largest of the world. It is a great location for scuba divers.
I like staying at: Tuscany Villas.

I acknowledge with all the above.....especially that there is no such element as the "best island": and yes, I acknowledge that Bermuda is a very wonderful region with something for everyone.
