London is the best city of the world. You can definitely visit London for one time with your family or friends. Here are lots of places to visit. Anytime of the year. But I think Spring and Autumn are good: less crowds and you might (might!!!) get decent weather.

The best time to visit London would have been the Spring or Autumn(Fall)(May,early June or September/October) as the crowds are generally less and the weather would have been such where you would need a light coat or sweater in the evenings.
However, now you just can't say for sure!
Probably though, I would go for Autumn as the colours of the trees in the Parks are beautiful and if you go early September you might be lucky and have an 'Indian Summer'.

London is beautiful and famous city in all over the world. There are many tourist attraction places in London like Tower of London, Westminster abbey, London eye, Royal Opera House and so on. Its all is very beautiful and enjoyable places.

I have visited London with my friends and london is very famous city for its museums, food and park. London is also best place for visitor.

Summer is probably the busiest season for London when most of the tourists flood the city. July is usually sunny and the city is getting ready for the City of London Festival of Music and Theatre, Covent Garden Festival, Wimbledon tennis championships and Hyde Park summer concerts.

Autumn is a good time to visit London as well. September is probably the best option, because October and November are often glum, dark and generally unpleasant for London sightseeing. However, it is good to visit London for a few days to attend an event.
