I like the work I am a photographer and a photographer by profession. I know this is hard especially during the trip. You need to focus and when to shoot especially with travel.

What I am trying to do is to approach a couple of magazines and sell them photos + articles. I know people who have done it and got decent extra money, after the trip. So instead of just selling pictures, you sell them a story. I guess if it's not only about the pictures but about a story, about some different angle you have on life, travel, or some area or country not many people have covered, you could try this writing + photos "pack" to sell to a magazine. Still you'd need to write decently, but that's a different approach.

I'll second the motion against working for free or cheap. It only makes it tougher for established photographers to earn a living wage, and it makes it harder for you to ever get one. Work has value. If it is a good photo, it is worth what a good photo is worth. Any value above that has to do with the photographer's ability to produce a good photo consistently, within budget and on time.

Many different components go into creating up the personality of a particular trip or place, whether it be a unique town or your area. It takes a trip photographer's job to protect these components to be able to provide that personality to the audience.

Be amazing and always aim for excellent and stunning injections. Always aim to be exciting and different but not too much. Being too arty with images may reduce its professional value. However, it is excellent once in a while.

In my experience, absolutely reliable. On long caminos I have had stuff posted to me on several occasions and it was always waiting for me when I went to the Lista de Correos.
