Hi! Help in planning itinerary in Perth

Postby allside on Fri Mar 25, 2011 2:03 am

Hi there,
I'm a student and will be going over to Australia this June-August. This will be my first trip to Australia, so i'm really looking forward to it. I'm not exactly sure how many days I should allocate for touring of Perth (and the surrounding areas if possible). I have extremely limited travelling time so I got to divide my time wisely among the different places in Australia to visit. And I was thinking, would 4 days be enough for Perth? Any suggestions on what I would be able to cover during these 4 days?

I do not know this part of Australia well, but if you have extremely limited travelling time I would just spend 4-5 days in and around Perth and spend the rest of your time elsewhere. Unless you have particular interests in things specific to Perth or Western Australia.
Visit the amazing Whitsundays in Queensland, Australia.

I agree that Kalgoorlie's an interesting place and well worth a visit but anyone planning a day trip there would need to leave at 3am and not be back by midnight - it's a seven hour drive from Perth!
You're a student? Catch a bus from the city centre around to the University of WA campus and take a stroll through the beautiful grounds there or take the train down to Fremantle and check out the historic buildings that house Notre Dame University right in the city centre.

hope u have great fun and enjoy the place..
thanks..

Perth is the ideal place for a particular day out or stay. Excellent shopping, eating out, entertainment, traditions and heritage, leisure and sport are all within close closeness in the city centre.
When you visit there so you can see vast ranges of tourist places are located in this city and some of them are listed below:
• Cottesloe Beach
• Rottnest Island
• Fremantle
• Swan Valley
• Margaret River
• Kings Park

I'd definitely recommend travelers to take a towards this place.

According to my experience Perth has really magnificent weather, good-looking beaches and simple going character. At the same time as the big-lack of city activity has some thing to accomplish with Perth being the most isolated city of the world, you won’t discover the locals irritable about the way of life!
